Great parking area. Even a Kayak launch here!
The parking lot is fine enough. It's all gravel and quite small. I just move to the area and haven't had a parking issue as of yet but I did take the last space available one time I stopped by and there were only about 6 other cars there. If it's full there are some street parking spaces near by. There are also no trash cans around. There's a sign that you take out what you bring in but of course people don't respect that. There's trash on the only picnic table and bags of dog poop at times left in the parking lot. Dog poop in your car isn't something that most people want to have in their hot cars. I highly suggest that the city places at least 1-2 trash bins in this park with lids so the rain doesn't fill them and so animals don't get in them. Having trash bins would also reduce the amount of trash blowing into the canal.
It's a parking lot. Not huge but never crowded.
